Secondary listing
A security that has a primary listing in one marker may have secondary listings elsewhere.
Reverse takeover
A takeover in which control of the combined business goes to the shareholders and management of the "acquired" business.
Acquisition
The purchase, by a company, of another company, a business, product lines or brands.
Acquisitive growth
Growth that is the result of takeovers, as opposed to organic growth.
IPO
The sale of shares to the public as a precursor to the shares trading on an exchange for the first time.
