Eurobonds
Bonds issued in a currency other than the issuer’s home currency. Usually outside the issuer’s home country as bearer bonds.

Investment markets in developing economies.
Hedge
A financial strategy that reduces the risks from one security or other investment by buying or selling others.
Swaps
An agreement to exchange one stream of cash flows for another, often used to switch currencies and interest rates (fixed vs floating).
Constant exchange rates
An abbreviation of constant exchange rates, an adjustment used to strip out the effect of currency fluctuations on sales and profits to give a better indication of underlying trends.
Debt service ratio
One of a number of ratios of cash flow to debt repayments.
J-curve
A dip followed by slower, but sustained growth in the longer term, as allegedly happens when a currency depreciates.
