Style index
A style index is an index that provides a measure of how a particular investment style has performed, either in a particular market or globally.
Free float
The proportion of a company's shares that are likely to be tradeable on the market: a measure of how many shares are reasonably liquid.
Relative returns
The return on an investment less the market return.
Benchmark index
The index or other measure against which the performance of a fund or portfolio is measured.
Tracker fund
A collective investment vehicle that is designed to replicate the performance of a particular index.
