RNS
Regulatory News Service (RNS) is a news service provided by the London Stock Exchange.
All announcements that London listed companies make to investors are carried by RNS. These include all announcements that are required by regulators such as results announcements, announcements of takeover bids and directors dealings
This means that access to RNS news is essential for investors. RNS stories are carried by a wide range of media including the
London Stock Exchange's own website, other websites such as
Investegate,
Reuters and
Bloomberg terminals and in a number of other electronic forms (such as data feeds that corporate buyers can feed into their own systems).
RNS also offers listed companies a number of other services that can help with regulatory reporting obligations and with investor relations in general. These are described on
the RNS section of the LSE website.
Most listed companies also carry RNS announcements and on their own websites.
